2012 KTM 500 EXC Review
Ktm 500 exc SM Gearing. I am a little confuse with gearing on bike. I read some stuff but didn't find any answer. My bike is is ktm exc 2012 sm . I have the stock gearing 15 45 and i top at about 190 km/h. I didn't need to ride that fast but i want to accelerate a little bit faster and top at around 170 km/h.
Just picked up this KTM 500 EXC SM. Any tips/suggestions? supermoto

Do I just cut a bit of a stand and re-fit the plastic foot? Chain and sprockets; at the moment I have standard exc chain, 13T front sprocket and 50T rear sprocket on big wheels.

No chain rub. They stay stickier in cold weather vs the conti attacks which become harder since they are a softer tire. 2CTs also have better life span but in the summer the conti attacks perform better overall. Sure, I may be riding for 4-5 hours on the street in the summer's day but its all around town, start-stop traffic, wheelies, curb hopping, jumps etc etc so based on that, the 500 is much more ideal since its much lighter and more nimble for hooligan shit.

#1 · Apr 16, 2020 I was going to buy a 2020 KTM EXC-F 500. but after testing its little brother, the 450, I'm hooked on that one. How can this be? There's no replacement for displacement. right!? Wrong! The 450 pulls harder and it revs faster because it has less inertia inside the motor due to having a smaller capacity. It sounds different too.
